In this case, our client wanted to exchange her 9 carat white gold engagement ring for a metal that was more durable. She had many issues with the claws, and after a consultation we decided to keep the ring exactly as it was. This enabled Clive to fit her diamonds exactly as they appeared before. Clive our goldsmith decided to remake the ring in Platinum and this will make sure this beautiful piece can be worn safely. This was an exact match for her original shank. 

Clive can carefully remove any stones, maintaining the sentimental value of the ring, and incorporate them into a design that better suits your preferences. We have frequently been asked to repair certain 9ct gold rings with internal flaws in the metal. Unfortunately, these flaws make successful repairs impossible, leading us to remake more rings in platinum.
